The continuous crisis between shopkeepers and auto rickshaw drivers of Lal Ghat area has took another turn today when the shopkeepers and hotel owners of Lal Ghat under the banner of Shree Lal Ghat Vypari Sangh handed over a memorandum to the S.P Mahesh Goyal.

President of the sangh, Devraj Singh Shaktawat alleged that some auto rickshaw drivers of the area are drug peddlers and supply drugs to the foreign tourists. This spoils the reputation of the area.

Shaktawat also said that some auto rickshaw drivers also misbehave with female foreign tourists.

The shopkeepers came forward today after the protest registered by Auto Rickshaw drivers against hoteliers and shopkeepers by giving memorandum on 13^th Nov. Auto drivers said that they have been abused by hoteliers and also got assaulted.

Around 30 businessmen of Lal Ghat visited S.P Mahesh Goyal and narrated their issues. S.P has assured them for required action and also said that he has already instructed his subordinates to investigate on the matter.

According to the memorandum, the businessmen are continuously facing problems caused by auto drivers hence they have planned to install CCTV cameras in the area to record the activities. The memorandum said that, auto drivers came to know about the plan of CCTV and in frustration they fought with the hoteliers on 12^th Nov.
