The Bhopalpura Police, yesterday evening arrested a resident of Udaipur with an illegal pistol and six bullets in his possession.  The accused has been booked under the Arms Act.

Acting on information from a source, the Police nabbed Rohit Singh Solanki (22), resident of Ravji Ka Hata from Bansi Pan Bhandar, Bhopalpura.  In the initial interrogation, Rohit accepted that he had bought the country made pistol from a man named Bharat Nath, who is an active member of Naresh Harijan’s gang.

He also revealed that he came to Bhopalpura with an intension to sell that weapon to someone.

Police is further investigating the case.
