A 29-year-old man from Devas (MP) was arrested by GRPF for allegedly insulting the national flag. The man was arrested from Mewar Express Train yesterday.

The accused Dheerndra Kumar Thakur was travelling with a shoulder bag embossing Indian Tricolor all over it. He was noticed by fellow passengers who informed GRPF that he was sleeping over the bag, making it as a pillow.

The security officials of GRPF arrested Thakur under Prevention of Insults to National Honor Act 1971.
