Man arrested for stealing 180 Kg of Tea
Udaipur police on Thursday arrested an accused for stealing huge number of tea bags from the godown situated at Ganesh Nagar Payda. The accused is a mischievous criminal and there is a hope of getting more details about the racket involved in theft of commodity, police said.

Accused identified as Mahendra Dangi, a mechanic by profession has confessed stealing around 180 kilograms of tea from the victim Ishwar Kumawat’s godown situated near his house at Ganesh Nagar Payda, He also revealed that he used to keep an eye over the godown as his shop was situated near victim’s house. Later the cops recovered the stolen items from the place informed by the accused, added SP Rajendra Prasad.
During the investigation of Ishwar Kumawat’s complaint police got the clues of Dangi’s involvement in the incidence of theft and accordingly, police detained and interrogated him during which he accepted committing the crime.
The accused hails from Salumber and was staying at Sector 11, Hiran Magri in a rented room, S.P informed.
