A man was arrested from Udiapol with 11 gram smack in his possession and booked under various sections of NDPS Act. The combined team of Assistant Sub Inspector Nirbhay Singh, Shyam Sunder and Binesh Singh grabbed hold of him while he was coming out of the bus stand.

Acting on a tip-off, the police team rushed to the bus stand and began the search of the suspect; a middle aged man coming out of the bus stand with other passengers. He tried to run away, but was rounded up and his clothes were checked upon which a packet containing brown colored powder was found.

After verifying the powder, it was found to be smack of 11 gram in quantity, SHO Ramesh Kumar informed.
