Ambamata Police has seized two country made pistols and several live bullets from a man at Brahmpol area. The accused is arrested under Arms Act and investigation has started.

Acting on the tip off, police detained Mahan Singh Rajput, resident of Aman Nagar and found two country made firearms with eight bullets. Ambamata Police C.I. Shivlal informed that, “Rajput belongs to a village in Jhadol Tehsil and presently residing in Aman Nagar.”

Police is now checking if there are any previous records of the accused and from where did he buy the weapons.
