Situation turned tense last night outside MB Hospital’s emergency ward when a man injured during an assault was admitted with multiple injuries. The incident took place at Teej ka Chowk, Dhanmandi area.

Relatives of the victim Sunil alias Sonu Ganchi gathered outside hospital. Sunil was attacked by a group of boys over alleged rivalry.

According to police, 6 accused were identified including Deepak, Mukhtiyar, Pintu Sahu, Hitesh Sahu and Akash baba. The accused thrashed Sunil with iron rods and swords. Sunil received multiple injuries and some of his ribs are also broken.

Police also informed that few days ago Sunil had a fight with the accused and this attack is out of revenge. Four people are arrested till now.
