A man and his friend were attacked by group of people loaded with swords on their way to Udaipur. The incident occurred on Gogunda-Udaipur road yesterday.

The victim Naresh, resident of Narakhara was rushed to MB Hospital with multiple injuries. Naresh identified one of the attackers as Shambhulal Gameti with whom he had prolong dispute over a piece of land.

According to police, Naresh and his friend Ashok were coming to Udaipur from village Kaluna.  While on their way they saw that the road was blocked by stones. As soon as Naresh came out of the car to remove the stones, the attackers who were hiding in bushes came out and attacked with swords and sticks.

Ashok somehow managed to escape from there and informed police about the mishap. Police team arrived on the scene and found Naresh lying injured. He was admitted in hospital.

According to police, Ashok is a history sheeter of Surajpol Police Station with more than 20 cases registered against him.
