A man was beaten to death by his nephew and other relatives due to family dispute. The fight took place on 3^rd Nov on the day of Diwali at Village Karnal. The victim succumbed to his injuries the next day i.e. 4^th Nov.

Police has arrested three people including one woman while one of the accused is still on the run.

The victim Prabhulal Gameti was allegedly beaten by his brother Bansilal, nephew Bhupendra and other relatives including Bhupendra’s mother Nathi Bai and his maternal uncle Chuka Gameti.

The reason of the fight is said to be an old dispute between both families. On the day of Diwali, Bhupendra who was drunk came to Prabhulal’s house and started abusing him and went back.

After few minutes Bhupendra again turned up with his father, mother and uncle and all started beating Prabhulal with sticks. Prabhulal sustained critical injuries on head and other parts of the bodies but he could not get medical attention the whole night.

The next day, Sarpanch of the village Padamraj Damor rushed Prabhulal to hospital but the victim died soon after reaching the hospital.

Nai Police SHO Jitendra Gangwani and his team rushed to the scene and started the investigation. Police also arrested Bhupendra and his parents Bansilal and Nathi Bai under section 304 of IPC. One of the accused Chuka Gameti is absconding.
