A suspected man was caught pick pocketing in the MB Hospital today. A knife and Rs.700 cash was seized from the suspect’s pocket.

According to the police, the suspect is identified as Mohd. Yusuf, resident of Naga Nagri area.

The incident took place this morning when Jayanti Lal Jain, resident of Sector 11, went to emergency ward for his relatives’ treatment.

Jain was standing at the counter of the ward. The suspect, Yusuf, was standing close to him, and took out Rs. 700 cash from Jain’s Pocket. But a staff member noticed and followed him. He caught him near the Mortuary. He was handed over to the police at Hospital Chowki.
