A man has been cheated by a suspicious caller who called the victim over phone and after introducing himself as bank employee he allegedly withdrew Rs.21589 by taking details of victim’s credit card.

The victim, Sunil Singh, a resident of Bedla, lodged a complaint against unknown caller. The incident took place on 13^th Aug when Sunil received call from the suspect who introduced himself as a bank employee.

Sunil told police that the accused caller told him that his credit card limit was low and it needed urgent update. The caller took all the details of victim’s credit card during the conversation.

After few minutes of conversation, Sunil received a message on his phone notifying him about withdrawal of Rs.21589 from his account.
