Relatives of suicide victim waiting outside mortuary

A man has allegedly committed suicide by consuming celphos tablets. Prima Facie, the reason is known to be heavy financial debts.

Niraj Sindhi, 36, was found dead at his residence at Bappa Rawal Nagar, Hiran Magri, Sector-6 today morning. The incident was first discovered by one of the friends, whose shop is located close to Niraj’s house.

According to the wife of victim, her husband was into financial debt and was upset due to continuous mental pressure. Niraj used to work as a fruit seller at Ashok Nagar.

Inder Bajaj, the one who discovered the incident, reported Hiran Magri police that he called Niraj today morning, but after the calls went unanswered he came to his house to check. The house was found locked from inside.

When he forced open the gate, he saw Neeraj lying dead in his room. Neeraj’s wife was out at her parent’s place with their son, from last few days.

Police has found 2 packets of aluminium-phosphide, also known as celphos from the victim’s house.
