A 25-year-old man was brutally murdered last night at MLSU Campus. The body of the deceased was found lying near old swimming pool of University. According to police, the victim was identified as Jitendra Kalal, resident of Gandhinagar Colony near RTO and used to run a tea stall at Pratap Nagar area.

Prima Facie the murder might be due to long dispute or hostility. More than a dozen of severe cut wounds were found on the victim’s body. The body was first discovered by a passerby and soon police was informed.

All top officials including Rajesh Bhardwaj (Additional SP City),  Ranu Sharma (DySP) and  Manjeet Singh (SHO) with police jawans rushed to the spot and inspected the mishap.

Jitendra’s paternal house is at Teej ka Chowk, Dhandmandi but he was currently staying at Gandhinagar Colony which is also close to MLSU campus. As per police, the murder scene and few evidences point that few people most probably known to the victim have killed him over old rivalry or any prolong issue; investigation has already started. A motorcycle of the victim was seized by police.

MLSU Campus has been long trespassed by anti social elements resulting in such mishap.
