Body of a middle aged man was found today at a farm situated in Amberi Village of Sukher area. Police have started investigation into what appears, prima facie, to be a case of murder.

The deceased was identified as Onkar Lal Dangi of Manwa Kheda area. His body was found today morning under mysterious circumstances, at a farm in Amberi area. The farm is owned by Narayan Das Vaishnav, a history sheeter of Sukher Police Station.

Notably, Narayan informed the police he was also thrown into a well last night by some accused who abducted him from his farm. He claims that it is the same set of people who might have murdered Onkar, said police.

Police has started investigation into the matter considering the information provided by Narayan as a base.

Some of the accused have been identified and a man hunt has been launched to take them into custody for interrogation. Reason behind the murder of Onkar and abduction of Narayan is still not clear and will emerge only after the accused are arrested, said SP.

The body of the deceased man has been kept in the mortuary for postmortem and his relatives informed about the mishap.
