A man, who was allegedly in a drunken state, killed his wife by smashing her head with stone. The incident took place last night at Village Kuryat falling under Nai Police Station jurisdiction. The accused is on large soon after committing the crime.

According to police sources, the victim Kanku Gameti (55) had argument with her husband Logar Gameti, a farmer. The argument turned into a fight between both of them and out of anger, Logar who was drunk at that time, allegedly smashed Kanku’s head with stone, killing her on the spot.

Police has started the search for the accused, while the body of victim was handed over to family members after postmortem.
