A 40-year-old farmer succumbed to his injuries after being assaulted by his neighbors last night. Two people including the key assaulter are arrested.

The victim Kesu Lal Gameti, resident of Bhilo ka Bedla was attacked by Durgesh and Pankaj Gameti after they had argument over an issue last night. Durgesh allegedly assaulted Kesulal with sharp object injuring him badly.

Durgesh and his accomplices ran away from the scene while Kesulal was rushed to hospital, where he died during the treatment. Police arrested Durgesh and Pankaj later in the morning.

Sources have informed that Durgesh had a doubt over Kesulal’s illicit relation with his wife which persuaded the crime. Although no official statement regarding the motive of the crime came from police authority.
