A man from Paduna Village, Tidi hanged himself from the ceiling of his room after killing his wife last night. The couple had nine children and the youngest one is just few days old.

Bodies of the victims are shifted to the mortuary by police for postmortem.

According to sources, 40-year-old Deva was alcoholic and had argument with his wife last night. During the quarrel, Deva took his rifle and shot his wife from close range killing her on the spot. After committing the crime, he hanged himself from the ceiling.

During the incident, the eldest son of the couple had gone to the market. When he came back, he saw body of his mother on ground while his father was hanging to the ceiling. The couple had 6 sons and 3 daughters.

A team of cops from Tidi Police Station reached the house of victims and shifted the bodies to mortuary.
