A 42 year old man Vaag Singh of Vadiyaar Village of Mavli area died this evening after one of his relatives allegedly shot him at a liquor shop.

Vaag Singh, who was recently in jail under the charges of section 304 IPC, was shot by one of his relative at a liquor shop last evening. He was shot with three bullets and was killed on the spot.

In the initial investigation, it came to light that one of the relative was involved in the attack but it is a matter of investigation and can be cleared only after the investigation is completed, said police.

Police has recovered 2 bullets from the scene. The search operation for the accused has been started, as informed by the police.
