A 22-year-old man was stabbed to death by his sister’s lover. The incident took place today morning at Sarada’s Nathara Chowk following a heated argument between the victim Dinesh Gameti and the accused Lalit Meena.

Lalit is said to be in relationship with Dinesh’s sister and was trying to flee with the girl, which provoked fight between both men.

During the brawl, Lalit took out knife and stabbed Dinesh. Seeing this, one of Dinesh’s friends, Gautam tried to save him but Lalit attacked him as well.

Both Dinesh and Gautam were rushed to the MB hospital where Dinesh succumbed to his injuries.

Dinesh’s marriage ceremony was fixed on 15^th May and the family had already prepared for the grand wedding function.

Ajay Kumar Dy. S.P Sarada said that a team of police rushed to the scene and started investigation. Search operation has started to nab the accused Lalit.

Lalit Meena is a resident of  Kerwada and was having affair with victim’s sister. Both came in contact last year when Lalit started working in victim’s village.
