A 42-year old man, resident of New Ashok Nagar was found unconscious near Rajiv Gandhi Park on Tuesday. He was rushed to MB Hospital where he was declared dead after which his body was shifted to mortuary.

The victim Arun Goyal (42), a broker by profession used to work in an office at Bapu Bazar. On Tuesday morning, he left for his work but didn’t return at the usual time. His parents & relatives started the search and got the information of him lying near the Rajiv Gandhi Park in an unconscious state. The relatives reacted immediately but he was declared dead by the doctors, police said.

Prima facie it is considered to be a suicide but investigation of the matter is being initiated to view different possibilities.
