Marble Businessmen Robbed on Udaipur-Ahmedabad Highway

Four marble businessmen of Udaipur were assaulted and robbed by a suspected gang near a petrol pump at Tidi Village on Udaipur-Ahmedabad Highway after midnight of 14th Dec.

 

Four marble businessmen of Udaipur were assaulted and robbed by a suspected gang near a petrol pump at Tidi Village on Udaipur-Ahmedabad Highway after midnight of 14th Dec.

The accused fled away with lacs of rupees cash after thrashing the businessmen. All the victims sustained minor injuries and a report is lodged at Tidi Police Station.

Businessmen, Rahul Vaishnav resident of Sukher, Gaurav Kasudia resident of Bohra Ganesh, Ditesh Hazaria resident of Ganesh Nagar and Rinku resident of Navratan Complex were going towards Ahmedabad in a car.

As they reached near Azaria Petrol Pump, Tidi, a group of suspects came in two cars, stopped the victims, pulled them out and started beating them, whereas one of the robbers took the bag of cash. The robbers fled away with cash.

Injured victims called police and informed about the incident. Police had installed naka bandi in nearby areas but the accused were not caught. According to police, the robbed amount is undisclosed, however sources have confirmed that lacs of rupees were looted from the victims.

All the victim were rushed to MB Hospital and released after initial medical assistance.
