Theft of Rs. 8 Lac occurred at marble factory ‘Mumal Marbles,’ situated at Sukher in the late hours on Tuesday. Police is suspecting somebody known to be behind the mishap.

SHO Mangilal informed that the owner Sunil Agrawal hadn’t filed an FIR as he wanted to confirm the amount being stolen from his factor from his accountant.

As per the police, the watchguard was on duty and the CCTV cameras were installed at the entrance of the factory. However, the thieves broke in the office from the back door. They opened the lock of attaché, broke the drawer’s locker and took away Rs. 8 Lac. The incident came to light in the morning when the cashier came to the office.

Police is of the view that the theft has been executed by someone known as the thief knew exactly where the amount was kept as no locks were broken to enter the office and the factory wasn’t ransacked. The FIR was lodged later in the evening post which the investigation commenced.
