Two students of Medical College allegedly assaulted a driver and spotter of a private bus service last night at Town Hall. The students were detained by the police.

According to sources, the students who were about to take a bus towards Jaipur got into altercation with the driver for not departing the bus on right time. The argument turned violent when both of the students who were allegedly drunk, started beating the driver.

The accused students also thrashed the spotter and verbally abused other passengers who tried to intervene.

According to Bus Company, the bus was scheduled to depart at 10:00 pm but due to technical problems, it got delayed by around 15-20 minutes.
