A 17 year old minor was found hanging in his house on Tuesday at Kanpur village. His father found him hanging from the roof and called the police who later shifted the dead body to the mortuary for postmortem.

Jitendra, father of the minor boy when returned home from his duty on Tuesday, knocked on the door of his house which was locked from inside. When he peeped inside, he found his son hanging from the roof. He immediately called help from neighbor who brought the victim down and rushed him to the MB Hospital where he was declared dead, informed Pratap Nagar police.

In the initial interrogation, it was found that the minor boy hailed from Kalyanpuri and was staying at Kanpur village with his father Jitendra, a watchman. Prima facie police considered it a matter of suicide however; the investigation is still on to get the reasons behind it.
