Tension gripped the Pulla area on Saturday morning when a 13 year old minor boy was found dead with his head crushed in one of the channels connecting to the Ayad River. A team of Ambamata police rushed to the scene and shifted the body to the mortuary. Later a case of minor was launched against the unknown accused.

The victim boy identified as Mahendra s/o Jiva Meena, resident of Pulla Kacchi Basti, was found lying in a drainage pit with his head crushed. Prima Facie it has been considered a murder and the police are up for investigation.

SHO Jitendra Anchaliya said that Jiva in his report to police mentioned that Mahendra had left his house on Friday evening to play outside with his friends but he didn’t return the entire night. On Saturday morning, wife of one of the neighbors informed him about the mishap after which they rushed to the scene.

Mahendra was a student of class 4^th, studying at Railway Training School, SHO added. The police is investigating the matter.
