Director of Miraj Entertainment Company, Udaipur has registered a case of fraud against a man who introduced himself as a film director and promised a deal with Miraj Entertainment.

 

Director of Miraj Entertainment Company, Udaipur has registered a case of fraud against a man who introduced himself as a film director and promised a deal with Miraj Entertainment.

The accused allegedly took Rs. 95 Lakh from Miraj as an advance payment for the proposed film. As per the report, after taking the money, the accused started ignoring continuous calls from Miraj Entertainment.

Bhopalpura Police has registered the case against the accused, Amit Mehrotra and started the investigation.

According to the report, Mehrotra contacted Miraj in 2011 and introduced himself as much influenced film director. He took responsibility of directing a movie under Miraj’s banner and presented the budget of Rs.3.5 Crore to direct the movie and other deliverables were finalized.

Amit took 20 Lakh rupees as his fee and an amount of 75 Lakh rupees for camera man, choreographer, and other staff.

After continuous follow up and request to start the work, Amit ignored it which left Miraj Group in suspicion and an istagasa was lodged in district court and a case was lodged.
