A case of suspected sexual assault was discovered yesterday at the MB Hospital, when the mother of an admitted girl saw signs of assault on her daughter while she was changing her clothes.

The girl, a minor and originally from Pali was bought to MB Hospital a week ago.

As per the mother, the incident which caused the trauma occurred on 19th May, when the girl was out shopping with her paternal aunt. When the aunt went into a shop, 4 unknown people kidnapped the girl.

The girl did not return home till evening and the parents started searching for her. She was found a day later in a bylane near her house, in an unconscious state, from which she has not recovered as yet.

The girl was taken to a hospital in Beawar and was subsequently referred to Ajmer. When the girls family saw no signs of recovery, they brought her to Udaipur and she was admitted to the trauma ward of MB Hospital.

Yesterday, seven days later, when the mother was changing her clothes, she saw suspicious assault marks on the girl’s body and reported the matter to the doctors.

The doctors have agreed to conduct medical tests and the reports should be available by totoday. Though no FIR has been lodged, yet the mother suspects physical and sexual assault on her daughter
