The alertness of the Traffic Police these days resulted in much sought after success, when they caught a Bike-Thief during their daily check today at Chetak Circle.

According to the Police, Fateh Singh s/o Satyanarayan Rajput was driving a numberless bike near Chetak Circle when Traffic Police along with policemen from Hathipol Police Station asked him to stop.  He tried to escape from the scene but showing the vigilance, Police caught him and brought him to Hathipol Police Station.

During initial interrogation he accepted the theft of 3 bikes from different parts of the city, including Hathipol Police Station area (M.B. hospital), Sukher Police Station area (Navratna Complex) and Dhanmandi Police Station area.

Officials including Narulal, Itwarilal, Yogesh and Buddhnarayan were the ones who arrested Fateh Singh in the first place.

Police siezed all the bikes and registered the case.  They are investigating the case for more such thefts, if any.
