A man was stabbed and left injured by two unknown assailants yesterday night when he accidently bumped his motorcycle into a car. The injured was rushed to hospital while both the attackers fled away; the mishap took place at Goverdhan Vilas, Sector-14.

According to police, Rajendra Singh, resident of Sector-7 was returning home with his wife when their motorcycle hit a Bolero car near Goverdhan Vilas; two men allegedly drunk came out of the car and started fighting with Rajendra. The argument turned ugly when the duo stabbed Rajendra several times before fleeing away.

Rajendra received multiple injuries on his thighs and was rushed to MB Hospital.
