With the growing number of crimes in the rural areas of Udaipur, another incident of murder was reported from nearby Barapal where a 45-year-old man was murdered outside his own house. The accused are absconding.

The victim Hakra Meena from Village Ghamania Fala in Barapal was found dead by his son Prakash. Goverdhan Vilas Police responded to the scene after getting information of murder from Sarpanch of the village.

Hakra Meena was a part time labour and alsoused to run a small grocery store near his house. He always used to sleep on a couch outside his house. Today morning, his son saw him lying in pool of blood with his face badly injured.

According to the information received from victim’s son, he has doubt on a person who had quarrel with his father few days back and later Hakra also was threatened by the same man.

Roshanlal, ASI of Goverdhan Vilas Police said that they have taken few clues but could not disclose.
