An 80 year old woman was found dead in her house situated at Bhensada kala village (Dabok) with her both feet completely mutilated from her body. The accused chopped off her feet with the axe and stole away the traditional silver anklets that she wore.

The scene came to light on Wednesday morning, when victim’s nephew Pushkar saw her lying dead inside her room. He ran outside and called the other villagers and relatives and told them about the brutal murder of victim Nani Bai, said police.

Pushkar informed police and told them that as Nani Bai was alone in the house, Pushkar used to sleep in her house but on Tuesday night, he went with his family to a farm nearby leaving Nani Bai alone. When he returned back, he found the victim Nani Bai dead, with her feet cut off from her body.

Looking at the murder scene, prima facia it is believed to be a crime of loot as both her feet is cut off and the heavy traditional silver jewelry missing. Besides, other jewelry from her body was also missing, as per the cops.

Later the body was shifted to mortuary and report was lodged against the unidentified accused.
