Naked Sword and other weapons confiscated from fast moving car

Three men were arrested today early in the morning by the Ambamata Police when they were moving in their fast moving car early today morning at 3.30 near Ranaji Circle, near Ambamata. The accused have been kept under judicial custody till 19th May, 2012, as per the court’s decision.

Dilip Nath s/o Narayan Nath, 23, resident of Sisarma Village, Sonu Rawat s/o Om Rawat, 23, resident of Ekling Pura, Naresh Paliwal s/o Bhawani Shanker Paliwal, 25, resident of Sajjan Nagar were arrested by the police in the wee hours of the morning. They were also carrying a naked sword in their vehicle. The trio was sent to Central Jail today afternoon under charges of scuffle with the police, possession of weapons and preventing government servants (Police) from carrying out their duty.

As per the police, “When Daya Lal (Police Constable) and his team were on routine patrol last night, they were instructed by their senior officer to stop a white color Zen coming in from the Mullatalai Area. The issue was there was loud music being played in the car, disturbing the surrounding areas in the late hours. The Police team came into action and tried to stop the car but the driver didn’t stop the vehicle.

The Police team hence followed them and finally caught up with them near Ranaji Circle. The trio had a scuffle with the Police and tried to physically avoid arrest. A naked sword with other pointed weapons was also recovered from their car. They were subsequently brought to the Ambamata Police Station and the car and weapons were confiscated by the Police.
