Gujarat Police has taken Shankar Prajapat, resident of Village Rama, Udaipur in custody and took him to Jehangirpura, Surat regarding Narayan Sai Rape Case.

It was Prajapat’s house where Sai’s female associate Ganga alias Dharmishta and her husband Pramod Mishra were hiding for 15 days in the month of Oct. The couple was arrested on 7th Nov 2013 by Gujarat Police team.

SHO Sukher Police Station, Gajendra Singh has informed that Gujarat Police arrived today and served notice to Shankar Prajapat under section 160 CR PC for his testimony related to the one of the most sensitive cases of the country.

Prajapat has agreed to coordinate with police and went to Jehangirpura, Surat. Narayan Sai, son of spiritual guru Asaram Bapu is booked under charges of rape and molestation.

Asaram Bapu who also is accused of sexually assaulting an underage girl at his Jodhpur ashram was arrested on Sept 1 2013. Narayan Sai is absconding for more than a month.
