A 10-year-old girl was subjected to alleged physical assault by her neighbor who also attempted to rape the girl. However, the girl managed to escape from the accused and informed her mother about the incident.

Locals of the area thrashed the accused and handed him to the police.

According to the information provided by police, the accused Tulsiram Rawat, residence of Kanpur Madri, allegedly abducted the 10-year-old girl residing nearby.

Rawat locked the girl in a room and tried to rape her. When the child tried to resist, Rawat started beating her. Somehow, the girl managed to escape and started crying for help.

Locals of the area rushed to rescue the girl and thrashed Rawat before handing him to the police.
