Police has made significant progress in the case of recent arrest of 7 accused for being involved in prostitution under the name of running a massage parlor.

Four women and three men were arrested from a Spa cum Massage Parlor at Sukher’s Meera Nagar on 26th March, under the charges of Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act (PITA).

In the interrogation, it was revealed by the accused that the girls from tribal areas and from other states were called for providing services to the customers.

DySP Divya Mittal informed, “During investigation, the trio accused disclosed a name– Pappu Singh, who belongs to Udaipur and was involved in this racket.”

Pappu was detained by police and was presented in the court today.

“The girls were made available to the procurer and manager by Pappu Singh”, she added.

Giving further information, it was stated that “Majeed, resident of Jaipur who was the procurer had previous experience of the trade and came to Udaipur in 2011 with a girl and opened a massage parlor at Kalka Mata Road.”

“The duo, Majeed and the girl were also accused in a case of murder in 2011, where they burnt the body of the deceased to hide their crime.”

The girls arrested by Sukher Police from the parlor for their involvement in the racket were sent to Judicial custody on Tuesday, whereas their accomplice Majeed, Lokesh and Lalit were taken in Police custody remand.
