One arrested during failed robbery attempt at Bhuwana

A gang of unidentified robbers made a theft attempt at a house of marble businessman of the city situated at New Flora Complex of Bhuwana area which resulted in failure. The robbers overpowered the watchmen of the house but buzzing alarm foiled their bid and they fled, but one of the accused was somehow caught by the victims and handed over to police on Sunday morning.
According to the Station House Officer- Mangilal, Sukher Police station the accused was identified as Puran Panwar (24) of M.P. In the initial interrogation, Panwar revealed that he had entered the house with his aides on Saturday night with an intention of loot.
Panwar is working as a labor at an under constructed building situated at Syphon whereas his aides are working at the construction site of Ananta Hospital at Jhalo ka Guda.
SHO further said that till now police has succeeded in arresting two more accused robbers whereas the attempts to nab others are still on. Though the victims have not yet lodged any FIR in the case but the investigation is on.
On the other hand the owner of the house and marble businessman Ramchandra Soni informed that the mishap occurred on Saturday night at around 1.30 AM when a number of robbers who barged into the house were spotted by two of his watchmen Hushiyar Chand and Yogesh.
Seeing the accused, both of them started shouting and in no time, one of the neighbors Kishore Vyas buzzed the alarm installed in the house upon which the accused fled from the scene. However, one of the robbers was caught by the watchman who was later handed over to the police.
Hushiyar Chand informed that he and Yogesh were on night duty when they were overpowered by the robbers and were attacked with knives and sticks. In the scuffle, Hushiyar Chand sustained injuries at his head and fell down who was beaten by the accused on the floor. Yogesh was nabbed by the accused that held a country made pistol. But the scene took a new turn when the alarm rang off.
Hushiyar Chand further said that during the whole scene the accused had cut the cables of the Close circuit camera installed at the victim’s house.
