Mandwa Police nabbed a man carrying illegal pistol which he was intending to sell in Gujarat. The arrested accused is identified as Kareem Khan, resident of Village Juda, Mandwa.

Kareem is linked with Chetan Kumar who was arrested recently with three pistols from Kotra. According to Kareem, he purchased the gun from Chetan.

According to police, on the information of sources, Kareem was arrested from Juda Bus Stand when he was waiting for Gujarat bound bus. Upon checking, a pistol and a bullet was recovered from him.

During interrogation, Kareem revealed that Chetan sold many guns to different people from Kotra area. He used to purchase these weapons from Madhya Pradesh.

Police is also searching for one more suspect identified as Ramesh Gadiya Lohar, who is said to be a close ally of Chetan Kumar and is involved in the illegal weapon trade.
