A businessman was robbed of with Rs. 2.17 Lacs rupees that were kept inside his scooter’s storage compartment.

A police complaint has been registered at Dhan Mandi Police Station by the victim Prakash Jain, resident of Hiran Magri.

According to police, Prakash Jain who owns a shop at Dhanmandi area was carrying cash in his scooter. Today, when he went away for some work leaving his scooter parked near his shop, a miscreant came and fled away with the cash.

Prakash also informed that the suspected person first asked about him to a vegetable vendor nearby his shop, and then the man sat on his scooter. He perhaps unlocked the cabinet and stole the cash.

When Prakash came back he found that cash worth Rs. 2.17 lacs was missing.
