Patwari caught red handed for taking Bribe
A patwari, employed at Bara Paal and Paduna area of Udaipur district was arrested by ACB, Udaipur for demanding and receiving bribe of Rs.4000 from an inhabitant of Paduna village. Bribe money was demanded in return of a property related issue.

A patwari, employed at Bara Paal and Paduna area of Udaipur district was arrested by ACB, Udaipur for demanding and receiving bribe of Rs.4000 from an inhabitant of Paduna village. Bribe money was demanded in return of a property related issue.
Patwari- Ghanshyam Vyas, resident of Goverdhan Vilas, taking an advantage of his designation had allegedly demanded Rs.10, 000 from an elderly villager, Baddha Meena, assuring him to help him out in an illegal manner for land partition.
After giving Rs.5000 in advance, Meena negotiated with patwari and finally settled to give him Rs.4000.
As per ACB’s version, Meena approached them with his niece, Bhagwati, yesterday and narrated the whole story. After doing verification of the complaint, ACB laid the trap to arrest Vyas.
Today, while Meena was paying off the remainder amount of Rs. 4000 to patwari, ACB official raided the place and arrested the accused with bribe money and brought him to Udaipur.
