Patwari held by ACB in bribery case
A Patwari of Udaipur Patwar Mandal of Girwa Tehsil, who had allegedly demanded and accepted the bribe of Rs. 11,000 against mutation and division of land, was arrested by the Anti Corruption Bureau on Friday.

The accused Patwari Dhulchand Dangi of Kanpur Patwar Mandar was nabbed red handed by the ACB team from his office where he was caught taking bribe from victim Madanlal Dangi for mutation of his parental land.
On 7th January, the victim, also the owner of the land approached ACB office and reported against the Patwari for demanding bribe from him. He also added that the accused had first demanded a cash of Rs. 15,000 and took Rs. 1000 in advance in September 2014. Later the deal was negotiated on Rs. 11,000, informed SP ACB, Brijesh Soni.
Soni informed that verification of the complaint had started by the ACB team who rushed to the office in Kanpur. On Friday, while taking the bribe amount from the victim, he was nabbed and shifted to ACB office for interrogation.
The land mutation documents have been confiscated from the accused and soon the ACB team will follow the search, Soni added.
In the initial investigation it was found that the accused Patwari Dhulchand was staying at Savina in a rented house and was posted as Patwari in 1993.
Patwari will be produced in the ACB court on 10th January.
