Hiran Magri Police arrested 6 men for conspiring to loot a petrol pump at Dakan Kotra. Almost all the accused are habitual offenders and have number of cases lodged in various police stations of Udaipur.

During the arrest, police also recovered three knives, a pistol, a live bullet, wooden sticks and a car from the accused.

Mohammad Hussain, Sohail Akhtar alias Sonu, Moin alias Chini, Salman Hussain, Saddam Hussain and Irfan Khan, all residents of different areas in Udaipur were arrested last night at around 11:45 pm following the information received by police official Vardichand Gurjar.

Police informed that, all the accused were sitting inside the car and planning to rob Indian Oil Petrol Pump at Dakan Kotra. A police patrolling team of Hiran Magri verified the information and arrested all the suspects.

Upon checking, four knives, a pistol, a live bullet and few bamboo sticks were found from their possession.

All accused are also involved in abducting a groom’s father few days before. Accused Salman and Moin are wanted in knife-attack and assault case at Surajpol and Goverdhan Police stations.
