Man accused of stealing away cash from a victim outside MB Hospital in the name of providing blood for the patient was arrested today by Hathipol police and home guard jawans.

Victim Vaagji Damor of Dholpur, Banswara was in need of blood for her ailing daughter, hospitalized at MB Hospital. On 7^th April, he found a man in the compound who said to provide blood against money.

Convinced by him, victim took out the money from his pocket, counting to Rs. 4000. In a hurry the accused, identified as Chunni Lal alias Shanker Gameti snatched the money from the victim’s hand and ran away. Out of Rs. 4000, he could manage to snatch Rs. 500.

The victim lodged a report on the 7th against the accused who got arrested today. Upon interrogation, it was found that this was his 6^th attempt of stealing money from people and used to rob small amount of cash from the past 3-4 months.

The police is trying to retrieve more information from him regarding the nexus that is fooling people in the name of providing blood against money.
