The mysterious murder of Lokesh Singh Bhati whose mutilated body was found from Lalmagri area few days back has been resolved by police following the arrest of victim’s own friend and neighbor Suraj Kashyap who committed the murder due to a suspicious affair.

Victim Lokesh Singh Bhati’s body was found on 10th January and since then police was searching for the accused, it was assumed that the murder could be related to gang war but it turned out as an internal dispute between two friends over an illicit relationship of Lokesh with one of the female relatives of Suraj.

During interrogation Suraj informed police that from last few days he and Lokesh were having continuous arguments over the issue. On 12th January Suraj took Lokesh to an isolated area of Lal Magri on his bike, both of them had liquor and after that Suraj stabbed Lokesh to death and crushed his face with a huge stone before fleeing away.

SHO Chagan Poruhit informed that the police became suspicious of Suraj when they came to know that victim was last seen with Suraj on the day of incidence, after getting the clues about Suraj police started searching him and two separate teams of cops were sent at Jaipur and Kota too.  However Suraj was arrested from Zawar Mines area and rushed to Hiran Magri police station.
