Acting upon the case of escape of a prisoner trio from Jhadol jail, Nai police arrested one of the accused prisoners last night from his residential village at Dodavali.

Recently, three under trial prisoners escaped from the sub Jail situated at Jhadol. Since then, various teams of Udaipur police were searching for them and raided their relative’s houses.

Prisoner Logar Gameti was arrested by the police last night from his village Dodavali on the information of sources. Police got the tipoff that Logar was expected to come to his house to see his daughter.

Reacting on the information, a team of Nai police station reached the village. Seeing the police, the accused tried to flee, but the police arrested him from the hills of the area. After arresting him, Nai police handed him over to Jhadol Jail administration, said SHO Nai.

While, police succeeded in arresting one of the prisoners, the search for other 2 absconding prisoners is still on.
