Shredding the image of police, two constables of Rishabhdev Police Station, 30kms from Udaipur have been arrested for allegedly raping the minor daughter of their own female colleague.

The accused police constables Kishore Singh and Bheema Singh were arrested last night after an FIR was lodged by the mother of 14-year-old girl, who is also a police constable at the same place where the accused were working.

Udaipur District Superintendent of Police Hariprasad Sharma and AdSP Sudhir Joshi reached Rishabhdev to verify the matter.

According to the report lodged by the mother of victim, last night Constable Kishore Singh convinced her daughter to take her at his house. Both, the victim and accused live at police quarters of Rishabhdev.

When the girl went to Kishore’s house, Bheema Singh also came there and both, allegedly, raped the girl.

The mother of the girl doubted when she did not return home, the mother checked and noticed her daughter’s cry for help. Many people living in the area gathered and rescued the girl. Later, the victim minor girl told the incident to her mother.

Medical check-up of victim was conducted by Medical Board of Udaipur that confirmed the rape.

SP Hariprasad told media that it is very unfortunate and shameful act by police constables, this will really tarnish the image of police among public.

Both accused have been arrested by Rishabhdev Police and the case is lodged against them, the process of suspension has been started.
