Cracking another prostitution racket in the city, Police teams from two police stations arrested nine accused including 6 women on Saturday evening and booked them under PITA (Prevention of Immoral Traffic) Act.

All accused were arrested from two hotels situated in Surajpol andFatehpura areas.

Raid in Surajpol

As per Dy.S.PMadhuri, the first raid was conducted in a hotel at Surajpol. The hotel owner and four women including a pimp were arrested during the raid. Following the information, an undercover cop went to the hotel and demanded a room, after noticing illegal activities, the cop signaled his team who immediately surrounded the area and arrested all the accused.

The hotel owner PushkarNarayan resident of SarvRitu Vilas, Surendra Singh, resident of Goverdhan Vilas and four women residents of Ambamata, Kodiyat and Banswara were arrested.

Dy.S.P informed that one of the accused Surendra Singh use to bring girls for prostitution in the hotel.

Raid in Fatehpura

In another operation, Ambamata Police nabbed two women from a hotel situated at Fatehpura, the hotel manager is also arrested for his alleged involvement in illicit trade.

The police team under direction of Dy.S.PGopal Singh Bhati and SHO JitendraAnchalia raided the massage parlor operated from the hotel and arrested two women under PITA Act.
