Surajpol police has cracked an incidence of robbery and arrested 4 accused and detained a minor boy along with them. The accused have been booked under the charge of robbing a male nurse of Rs. 30,000 in cash.

Surajpol police has cracked an incidence of robbery and arrested 4 accused and detained a minor boy along with them. The accused have been booked under the charge of robbing a male nurse of Rs. 30,000 in cash.

The accused have been identified as Karan (19), Akash (20), Shiva (20) & Ganesh (22) of Thakkar Baba Colony, Surajpol. The quartet, along with an accused who is a minor, were detained today from their area. The arrested are accused of robbing the victim Ashok Kumar Meena of Sector. 14 of Goverdhan Vilas area on the night of 16th May near Ashoka Cinema hall at Town Hall area while he was waiting for a public transport.

The victim had filed a complaint at the police station reporting that he was robbed by the accused who robbed him of Rs. 30000 after trashing him badly. He was targeted by the accused at Town Hall when he was waiting for a public transport to return home.

Ramesh Kumar, C.I. Surajpol credited the efforts of beat officer Samay Singh of Surajpol police station in making the breakthrough.

On the night of 16th May victim Ashok had gone to the bus stand to drop his brother Avinash who was going to Jaipur for his Examination. Post that, he returned to Town hall where he was robbed , informed police.

During police interrogation, it came to light that the minor detained in the robbery case was involved in a number of other criminal activities.
