Udaipur police detained a man under suspicion for being the master mind behind series of petrol pump loot that took place on National Highway 76.

The suspect Sultan Singh Daruga was detained from Sikar on Tuesday by the local police after his alleged involvement in the ATM loot. Sultan Singh’s name came up during interrogation of 8 people arrested from Jaipur for their involvement in a robbery.

During investigation, name of another suspect identified as Rajveer Banna of Sikar came to light. However, later Sultan Singh revealed that he was staying in Sikar with the false name as Rajveer Banna.

Police believes that Sultan Singh is leader of a gang which has dozen members in it. They were probably involved in robbing the petrol pumps.
