An absconding accused, who was allegedly involved in the sale of an illegal gun, was caught yesterday by Hathipol police from Banswara.

In the recent past, Police arrested Sunil alias Sonu s/o Bheru Lal Ghanchi resident of Dhanmandi from Chetak Cinema Area with an Illegal gun in his possession. During interrogation, he revealed that he purchased the gun from Kuldeep Singh s/o Ranjeet Singh Ranawat in Rs. 10,000.

Since then the Police had been looking for Kuldeep, until yesterday, when they got a tip that Kuldeep was in Banswara. Acting swiftly, two Constables from Hathipol Police Station went to Banswara and successfully got hold of Kuldeep from Banswara Bus Stand.

Kuldeep was brought to Hathipol Police Station today evening.
