The fifth accused, who was absconding after attempting to attack businessman Pramod Chaparwal, was caught by the police today.

According to Police, After getting a tip from source, accused Sheru Alias Sher Singh, resident of Bedwas village was caught by Hathipol Police at around 5 PM.

During the interrogation of four accused caught earlier, Police had got the information about Sher Singh and Police had been searching for him since then. “Today on the tip of a source, we managed to catch him, when he was at his house”, said Goverdhan Lal, CI Hathipol Police Station.

Sher Singh is said to be a property dealer and has several criminal cases registered against him. He was also involved in a kidnapping earlier this year in October.

According to Police, The attack on Pramod Chaparwal was planned by Azam Khan.
